Vanderbilt University's new Department of Health Policy in the School of Medicine brings together a broad group of health policy scholars whose mission is to inform health policy and improve health and health care through research, education, and service. The Department is built on the premise that research and innovative thinking should guide health policy and help policymakers to understand implications of their choices.
