Jessica S. Ancker, PhD, MPH, FACMI

Dr. Ancker is a Professor of biomedical informatics who has worked in several different areas of healthcare and health policy. She has been a part of several grant review boards and serves as an associate editor for the Journal of the American Medical Informatics Association and Medical Decision Making and MDM Policy & Practice. She has also worked in different roles in institutional committees and centers at both Cornell University and Vanderbilt University. Her research interests focus on biomedical informatics, health services research, health literacy and numeracy, telemedicine, and health equity.

She is also the Vice-Chair for Educational Affairs of the Department of Biomedical Informatics.
